Politics: "Porcupine Libertarian" = Strong Defense + Fiscal Conservative + Social Libertarian
1) Tired of borrowing from the Chi coms so the politicans can act the big shot by
a. playing world policeman
b. giving it to other countries and the UN
c. using it to buy votes with unConstiutional social(ist) programs
d. using it to "protect" people from their own bad habits
2) Tired of the GOP
a. They try to stand for everything, so they stand for virtually nothing.
b. It is time they stand for something. . . or stand aside.
c. Voting for the "lessor of two evils," only insures that your next choice will be more evil still.
d. Not being religious, I'm tired of those who would legislate morality, an act of consumate imorality.
3) Tired of the Socialist Democrats
a. Socialism is stealing, plain and simple.
b. It is a philosophy based on self loathing, class guilt, class envy, and the need to follow "someone bigger" hence the narcasists they always pick for leaders.
c. It is contrary to nature and to the nature of mankind, charity (like morality above) should never be (and can never be) legislated.
d. It is based on devisivness, the "hypenaztion" of America weakens us beyond all other things.
4) Tired of a Federal Government which
a. Insists that it's impossible to control the borders and evict the treapassers which is plainly, "Providing for the common defense." Yet also insists it should control health care which is plainly more expensive, more difficult and beyond the Constiutional scope of the federal government.
b. Regards the "Commerce" and "Common Welfare" clauses of the Constiution as the only ones that are meaningful.
c. Seeks to enslave our posterity to uncomperhendable debt, to subjegate them to the foreign princes of the UN, and indoctronate them ito thinking that this, rather than Liberty, is their only birthright.
d. Endanger our very lives rather than face the disapproval of forign states, even those who are our ideological enemies.
My son, my brother's son, my brother's nephew, my sister-in-law's son and her nephew, have together served 8 tours of duty in the war on terror, all but one of the lads (3 of the 8 were his) is till in uniform and scheduled to re-deploy within the year. It is for them, more than for myself that I feel the things I listed above. If they can sacrifice so much for our country, I can at least write and meet, vote, and speak to try to save as much of the country as possible for them.
