My interest in politics goes back many years and several Presidents. Since 1988 I have hoped to find another conservative candidate who held my beliefs and was dedicated to upholding those beliefs. In March of 2007 I believed I found that candidate in Fred Thompson, and while Fred was not able to make it through the search goes on.

In June 2007 I founded Conservative Superiority, a blog that is dedicated to upholding conservative principles and highlighting liberalism regardless of which party it occurs in. Much of the Conservative Superiority site was focused on Fred Thompson and highlighting the media hypocrisy in its coverage of the Republican primaries.

With Fred no longer in the race I choose not to endorse any other candidate. I will write in Fred Thompson in the primary if he is not on the ballot and I will write him in on the general election as well. I am done compromising my principles for candidates that pander to my beliefs and then govern as liberals.
