Frisco Patriots,
The Arts of Collin County (ACC) has become a big issue for Frisco residents. The original vote ocurred in 2002, so this discussion has a decade worth of facts, figures and people associated with it. At our next meeting, we're going to separate the fact from the fiction. Frisco City Councilman, Pat Fallon, will lead us through those murky waters. Also, I've asked Pat Fallon to provide a one-page fact sheet concerning the ACC. So you can walk away from this meeting with valuable information that you can share with Frisco friends and neighbors.
At our meeting, we will also kick off the Petition Drive to get the ACC on the November ballot. Come to this meeting and sign the petition.
Also, many of you were very concerned about the Section 8 Housing. Frisco City Councilman, Jeff Cheney, will be addressing this issue. You'll want to hear Jeff's remarks. I think you'll find it enlightening.
Please make time on your schedule to attend this meeting. The ACC affects all Frisco residents not just Collin County. All of Frisco will pay for this no matter what the name is. Not only is it important for you to understand the ACC but this will probably be the central issue in the upcoming Frisco City Council election on May 8th. Understanding the ACC will help you decide which candidate to support.
Tuesday, March 30th
Spring Creek BBQ (Preston & Warren)
7:00 - 8:30
Hope to see you then!
