Party names have changed and you know that. The basic premise that has NEVER changed is conservatives pushed for segregation, period. Who stood up and filibustered? Conservatives. Who comes out recently and says the Civil Rights bill was unconstitutional..conservatives. Eliminating secularism leads to the Taliban. Late term abortion...apparently you were swept up in the great 80s, "let turn the Christians into conservatives based upon a single issue" wave of Frank Schaffer. The funny thing is...the more you read of the Bible, particularly the New Testament, the more liberal Jesus is. Think of Palin's and Rand's public claims if Jesus came back and started preaching about giving to the poor and turning the other cheek. How comical.
