Palin the leader
Member since 2010-02-25
If Sarah Palin has quit everything she has attempted before it was finished, like changing schools 5 times, quitting the city board, quitting as the mayor, quitting as the governor...etc, etc, then how can anyone possibly think she would be a good President or a good anything other than a talking bobblehead? Additionally, if virtually everyone who comes in contat with her, comes back and claims she is clueless, a diva, and doesn't give a crap about learning what the issues are or their background, then how is a pattern not recognized? Wouldn't the qualifications of a leader be someone who does NOT ask a question, look in the mirror and answer it for themselves without ever learning anything about it?

Well I guess Obama the mystery man with a murky past and students that don't even recall seeing him when he was at Columbia, the use of several social security numbers, the fact that he was a junior senator for 143 days before running for the office of the presidency, and is not even eligible for citizenship, that's your idea of a political leader that sticks to it, huh? Palin was actually better qualified to run this country than Obama. Why is it you people are so threatened by Palin. She's got a lot more balls than you do!

What a loon! The Western Center for Journalism (also the same people who created the outlandishly juvenile and blatantly false and ridiculous conspiracy laden website WorldNetDaily, which the entire planet considers a joke website like the Onion) are the only people who claim multiple socials. They found 16 names that resembled Barrack Obama and claimed he must have been using different names...morons. Seriously, my 5 yr old could filter that nonsense out. It is a shame that you grown people can't. Do you still believe in Santa Claus too? Secondly, Palin can't understand basic facts concerning the world and our place in it, much less things like deficit spending. Obama was the editor of the Harvard Law Review. Check out that list of alumni. As for balls...see, that is all you people want. You don't care that she doesn't have a clue, because you don't either. You want someone like YOU to be in the White House. The problem is, we, the rest of the planet, wouldn't allow YOU to pick up after our dog, much less run something. As far as your citizenship claim...well, once again, you have put yourself in the same category as those who think lizard people from outer space have inhabitted the Bilderberg group and they run the world. Grow up...seriously. It is pathetic.

IMHO the TEA Party Movement should remain amorphous and without designated "Leaders." The socialist media tries every day to assign our "Leaders," based on their preconceived stereotypes so they can use their prearranged attacks.

Individuals are more vulnerable to attack by the media than the masses of citizens and more specifically the ideas behind the movement.

The less predictable we are, the greater the perceived threat we will represent to the politicians we want to influence (or replace).

Just my thoughts.

Right now, you are just interesting from a national standpoint. History shows that populist movements surge before a major policy change, and then filter out. You could take over the Republican party, which honestly, without you, what exactly do they stand for? You are the Republican Party, just not the Congressionals. Your leaders sold you out, and hey, mine did too. However, in order to be taken to a level even of the Bull-Moose, then you would have to eliminate fringe efforts by the John Birch, Oath Keepers, and the militia paramilitary groups that currently envelope your ranks. Without that, you are still considered that people in all the stories who just started paying attention, got all of your information with regards to the Constitution and history from Glenn Beck, and reacting rather than thinking. Holding up signs about "keep your government hands off of my Medicare" doesn't help. When you call someone a fascist and a socialist, then you just show that you didn't take basic political science, things like that. Right now, you just appear like some people who just started learning what everyone else has been been engaged in for years, with the reactionary zeal of the "Burn the Witch" crowd in Salem.

Texasbeta,

You are awfully articulate and well versed in the democratic propoganda. I will agree with you that most of the republicans that I know have been busy building businesses and working far too many hours to support their families and the families of their employees. While you were off in a liberal institution having your head crammed with anti free enterprise BS. It is us, the ones that have been building businesses that have made immense financial contributions to hospitals, universities, work programs, and every other charitable organization possible. While you have been study your history and becoming more and more liberal, we were the ones that gave your mother and father their paychecks to put your ungrateful self through college (I am sure that you have some pitiful story of how your mother and father were useless to you, and that through years of therapy you are strong now). We are the majority, we do not want a government mandating what we will and will not do. I am not interested in having my children achieving mediocrity, this is simply unacceptable. I do not want my children and grandchildren having to go without, because our government feels that their is not enough to go around. I suggest that you pull your head out of your books, and look around you. The world is changing, and the change that you thought was so good with Obama will lead you to a long and miserable life. I'll take Beck, Rush, Hannity, Palin, M. Davis, M. Levin, and all that are willing to spoeak out on our behalf. I will als otake my guns and my liberties. I will even use those guns should need be,to protect the values that you spit upon daily (I will even stand by your side to protect you), because we are Americans and our freedom is worth fighting for. I don't see you offering alot of suggestions to fix this situation, I just see you sitting in judgement of a movement that must scare the sh*t out of you.

The reason I like Palin is mainly because the media hates her, and she is a good orator.

I voted for McCain not because of McCain, but for two reasons Pro Palin and anti Obama, in that order. Would I like her to be a primary ticket? No. She speaks well, and writing, and speaking is her strong point. She needs to keep doing that. My favorites are Fred Thompson (and his wife), and really J.C. Watts, but he is smart enough to get out of politics.

Katrina is a better image of the Tea Party than Palin.

Plus 1 on JC, he always impressed me, likewise I voted for Palin rather than libertarian last election (McCain just happened to be on her ticket).

In my opinion people get carried away with the notion of electing a POTUS who can "run the country." Well, "running the country" isn't in the job description. The POTUS is, more than anything, a spokesperson and symbol of an ideology (hopefully one of nationalism and patriotism unlike the current regime). Regan was no more experienced than Palin, but they share the spark of public speaking and basic conservative/libertarian principles.

Well, well. I see that the Repubs are hard at work, for sure, doing what you do best- criticizing, name calling and hiding behind the beer belly of Rush and Beck! First, last time I looked, you are NOT the "majority" - far, far from it! Second, you may want to learn to spell before spewing your rhetoric all over the internet... It is "there" NOT "their"; if YOU had taken the time to get YOUR head INTO the "liberal colleges" you would know that! Third, I have a strong suspicion that your children won't go without because I'm sure you've already schooled them on how to cook books, steal children's piggy banks, work on Wall Street and make wagers that people will lose their homes while the Fat Cats (like yourself, I am sure) sit back sipping Dom Perignon (oh and the "g" is silent, fyi) and smoking $100 Rush-Cigars on one of your 15 balcony's! I'm sure they will be proficient in self preservation above ALL else. And I bet you've fitted them with nice diamond laced blinders as well! All necessary to fulfill the requirements of the "good ole white boy" party - the GOWBP! Oh yeah, you can take your 5254 guns (counting JUST the ones in your bomb shelter) and shove them! A True American doesn't NEED them! Yes, you're definitely a great example of why a majority of Americans have made a statement that Repubs need to go back to the drawing board - because you sure can't spell! The only word you know without looking it up is "HATE"!

Thank our Creator that Barack Obama is the President of the UNITED States! Come 2012, he WILL be elected again! This President is an example of what a "MAN" should be; what a "leader" should be! He makes Bush (BOTH of them) look like the bumbling idiots that they are!

I like what Palin stands for and agree that she is a good public speaker, but I don't think she should run for president. She is way too polarizing. Are we trying to unite the country or keep it divided? She would divide us even more and that is not our goal. Let's find a candidate who wants to bring us back together and gets back to the basics. Finger pointing and name calling is futile.
