Dallas Tea Party's own Katrina Pierson got some great exposure and love from Michelle Malkin today:

Katrina Pierson Dallas Tea PartyKatrina Pierson is my people. She’s a feisty young Texas mom and Dallas tea party activist who supports limited government principles and rejects left-wing identity politics. She confronted the NAACP last year with a rousing manifesto of political independence and rebutted the left-wing group’s attacks on the tea party as racist:

“The reality is that we colored people no longer require the assistance from other Negros for advancement,” Pierson said. “These groups run to the rescue of distressed brown people only when the media deems it newsworthy. Meanwhile, there are inner city black children who continue to grow up fatherless while sharing a neighborhood with stray bullets, drugs and a plethora of liquor stores on every corner. … I don’t believe that the true meaning of this nation’s creed was to move black people from one form of slavery to another.”

The NAACP, she observed, is made up of “Democrats who bow to a Democrat master today as they once did over 200 years ago. Once this is realized by the forgotten society, race in this country will be as irrelevant as those who thrive off of it.” Amen, sister.

Go Katrina!!!

Americans do not like secret meetings that result in backdoor deals. People do not like finding out what is really in a legislation until after it is passed. That is what is going on now with these Obama/RINO deals floating around in an atttempt to undermine the efforts of Cut/Cap/Balance.

Conservative Pete Sessions was interviewed on Mark Levin (the real veteran of the Ronald Reagan aadministration) and Pete Sessions said he reived a pathetic handout. They are not even real plans.

Basically these are tax and spend proposals that promise sketchy promises of future spending cuts with nothing really substantian to eliminate the need to raise the debt ceiling now.

Pete Sessions supports Cut/Cap/Balance because it would eliminate the need to raise the debt ceiling now, has provisions to prevent liberals from using it as an excuse to raise taxes, cuts a substatntial amount of spending now, and does not raise taxes.

Also these deals are probably unconstitutional a

IF YOU ARE A PART OF THE FIGHT
Sometimes you come to a point where it takes all your strength just to keep from lashing out. Those times when the lies the insults and the threats seem endless. Often it feels like you are on your own. You've spent large amounts of your own money which you couldn't afford to spend. Days come and go with little sleep, there just isn't time for rest, your mission is simply too important. You dare not turn your attention to most of those around you, it would make everything you've done seem like a waste of time. You focus your attention on the ones who have gone before you. They too must have had the same feelings, at times hopelessness, despair, rage and loneliness. If you measured your numbers by the spoken word you would believe you were a part of a massive army. However the utterances you hear, though high in volume, are void of commitment or passion. It's in the actions your numbers are revealed, and they are few. They may be few in numb
