With the final early voting numbers in, the good news for the Dallas County Republicans is that early voting turnout was up 50% in the county's most heavily-Republican precincts.
The good news for the Dallas County Democrats is that early voting turnout was up even more in the most heavily-Democrat precincts.
The graph below shows the percentage change between the 2006 early voting numbers and the 2010 early voting numbers. The blue bars on the left represent selected precincts traditionally supporting Democrat candidates by 95% or more, while the red bars on the right represent a selected precincts traditionally supporting Republican candidates by 65% or more on election day:
