With the final early voting numbers in, the good news for the Dallas County Republicans is that early voting turnout was up 50% in the county's most heavily-Republican precincts.

The good news for the Dallas County Democrats is that early voting turnout was up even more in the most heavily-Democrat precincts.

The graph below shows the percentage change between the 2006 early voting numbers and the 2010 early voting numbers.  The blue bars on the left represent selected precincts traditionally supporting Democrat candidates by 95% or more, while the red bars on the right represent a selected precincts traditionally supporting Republican candidates by 65% or more on election day:

PLEASE NOTE : the above chart reflects turnout in a relative handful of party-aligned precincts as a general indicator of voter enthusiasm.  It is not necessarily a prediction as to the outcome of any political race.

Conservatives have sat on their hands for 40 years, while the left work endlessly. The dems are organized, well funded & entrenched. It will take years to overcome and undo all the damage that we have allowed them to do. For no longer than we have been around, we have accomplished much, but there is still a long way to go, and a lot of work to do. And believe it or not, there are still a lot of conservatives sitting on their hands. I heard one a couple of weeks ago say that she wasn't registered to vote so she wouldn't be called for jury duty. What a disgrace.

Tea Party backed candidates have swept the House of Representatives, picked up many Governorships, and some Senate seats although very few were up for re-election. If they were all up for re-election yesterday you can just imagine the net gains. You have made a difference. For example, Vicky Hartzler won a House seat in Missouri against a strong liberal candidate with little to no support from the Republican establishment like Ronald Reagan. There are plenty of stories like this today because of your involvement. Today is the beginning. God bless you and God bless America.

Where on the Dallas county elections website are you getting these numbers?

Go to http://dalcoelections.org/nov22010/earlyvotingreport/index.asp. Pick your precinct to get names and numbers! I'm going to use this info for my precinct plus my voter lists to figure out who HASN'T voted yet, so we can them this weekend to remind them to vote! This way, we don't have to waste time calling those who have already voted. I have about 17.2% turnout so far (was 29.46% in 2006 - but that included election day). GOTV!

SOME of those doing early voting in Democrat precincts are certainly crossing over to Republican this time. They will not be 95% blue this year!

Keep in mind, this is just the beginning. We have to continue the fight to make sure WE are represented by OUR chosen elected.

We have to get a higher percentage turn out now and the highest ever in 2012. Let's get our friends, family and neighbors to the polls. God Bless America & God Bless Texas
