The VAT Tax will completely neutralize the efforts of the Tea Party because if Tea Party members refuse to pay their income taxes, then the VAT Tax will be raised, and the Tea Party members will be declared villains. In essence, the Vat Tax is a really nifty way of raising taxes and neutralizing the Tea Party. No freedom loving individual would be for a VAT tax. Our current income tax system may need to be revised, but a VAT Tax isn't the answer. A VAT Tax equates with economic slavery.
